Riverside Halt
Riverside Halt was built by the
Royal Deeside Railway
Preservation Society (RDRPS) on
a greenfield site on the formation
of the lifted (and overgrown)
Deeside Line.
This halt, built from scratch by
RDRPS in 2018-2020 - using
recycled half-height offshore
containers donated in 2012 - is
the next step in reaching the
original target of RDRPS, viz. a
relaid operating line from Milton of
Crathes to a terminus in eastern
Banchory.
