The Great North of Scotland Railway (GNSR) was one of five railway companies in Scotland, in the  Victoran era. It served the north east of Scotland from Aberdeen to Elgin, a largely-agricultural area  which included the fishing ports of Buchan and the splendid scenery of Deeside and Speyside.  This is  the website of GNSRA - for all those interested in the railways of north east Scotland. Navigation on this website is mostly via  black buttons , such as those seen in the top margin.
