A Craven's DMU at St Comb's in July 1963, a young lad has already booked his front seat for the return trip. The Angus Rail Group special at Fraserburgh in June 1974, the yard where it is seen is now full of industrial units connected with the fishing industry. Too late, Fraserburgh 1979.
Kirkton Bridge halt was beside Fraserburgh Golf Club, note the lightly laid track and ski jump over the distant dunes. With the agents accommodation on the first floor Mormond Halt's physical grandeur is rather out of keeping with it's relative unimportance and isolation 29 Sept 1979. D6152 seen at Mintlaw in this delightful scene on 1 May 1965, fortunately at least one diamond plate survives in a private collection.
Elgin GNSR in Sept 1967, the Craven's DMU on the right will later depart for Cairnie Junction via Craigellachie. Aberdeen station, north end in 1973 with a Swindon unit heading to Inverness. Thanks to the boys at Boness you can now travel on their superbly restored unit based at the SRPS.
